Becker's hat trick helped the Junior Senators crush the Royals 11-1

Brad Becker led the way with a hat trick as the Binghamton Junior Senators crushed the Roc City Royals 11-1 in a home game at Lakeshore Hockey Arena in Binghamton. Ryan Reifler also had a big night with 4 points (2 goals, 2 assists). Besides, the Binghamton Junior Senators' offense had a big night, peppering the Royals with 56 shots throughout the game. The Binghamton Junior Senators took the lead before the halfway point in the first on a goal from Brad Becker and never looked back.

Geoffrey Lamorre did his part, adding 2 goals and Michael Padgeon contributed with 3 points (1 goal, 2 assists).

In the first, Becker opened the scoring for Binghamton with a goal at 13:09 with helpers from his linemates, Reifler and Bogdziul. Becker quickly followed with what turned out to be the game winning goal at 14:53 with assists from teammates Beversdorf and Dzhangarashev.

During the second, Reifler netted a goal at 8:11 with a helper from fellow Junior Senators forward Becker. Gresham deposited a goal at 11:19 with assists from Reifler and Dzhangarashev. Simmons quickly followed with a goal at 12:16 with helpers from Padgeon and Darling. Beversdorf scored a goal at 15:00 with assists from his linemates, Dearing and Melso.

During the third period, Reifler netted a goal at 4:54 with helpers from Becker and Gresham. Corey finally put Roc City on the board with a goal at 8:40 with assists from his linemates, Norris and Peters. Lamorre answered for Binghamton with a goal at 15:24 with helpers from Wilber and Miller. Becker quickly followed with a goal at 16:41 with an assist from defenseman O’connor. Lamorre quickly followed with a goal at 17:24 with helpers from Padgeon and Simmons. Padgeon quickly followed with a goal at 18:56.

The Junior Senators’ victory was in no doubt helped out by Zero as he stopped 9 of the 10 shots he faced. Zero’s counterpart, Peters, also had a big night, managing to stop 45 of 56, but ultimately fell short.

This win brings the Binghamton Junior Senators’ record to (37-3-0-3).
