Becker's hat trick helped the Junior Senators crush the Wildcats 6-3

Brad Becker led the way with a hat trick as the Binghamton Junior Senators crushed the Jersey Shore Wildcats 6-3 in a home game at Jersey Shore Arena in Binghamton. As well, Brady Anderson came up big, stopping 25 of 28 shots throughout the game. The Binghamton Junior Senators took the lead late in the first on a goal from Brad Becker and never looked back.

Tim O’connor did his part, adding 2 goals.

In the first, Wilber opened the scoring for Binghamton with a goal at 4:47 with an assist from Becker. Becker quickly followed with a goal at 6:04. Henzie quickly followed with a goal at 6:30 with a helper from Ventura. Lamorre answered for the Junior Senators with a goal at 14:14 with an assist from his teammate Kepple. O’connor quickly followed with a goal at 15:30 with a helper from Filippello. Becker answered for Binghamton with what turned out to be the game winning goal at 19:56 with an assist from Reifler.

During the third period, O’connor answered for Jersey Shore with a goal at 11:20 with a helper from Mullen. Becker answered for the Junior Senators with a goal at 17:56 with an assist from Mukovoz. Simmons quickly followed with a goal at 19:19.

Binghamton’s victory was in no doubt helped out by Anderson’s big night as he stopped 25 of the 28 shots he faced. Anderson’s counterpart, Sesock, also had a big night, managing to stop 5 of 8, but ultimately fell short.

This win brings the Binghamton Junior Senators’ record to (12-3-0-0).
