Kahlau’s big game bests Skylands in 6-2 Wilkes-Barre win

Tanner Kahlau was all over the ice for Wilkes-Barre, as he tallied one goal and two assists in Wilkes-Barre\’s 6-2 win over Skylands.

Kahlau beat Mathias Yttereng with a shot 14:27 into the second period to make the score 3-2 Wilkes-Barre. Nicholas Vitanovec picked up the assist. Kahlau dished an assist on Connor Landregan\’s goal that made the score 2-1 Skylands at 7:11 into the second period. He added another helper on Ryan Flanagan\’s goal that made the score 5-2 Wilkes-Barre at 18:40 into the third period.

Wilkes-Barre put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Skylands to score on any of its five power plays. Skylands was unable to stop Wilkes-Barre from sending pucks towards the net, and Wilkes-Barre eventually piled up 38 shots on goal.
