Melso's big night helped the Junior Senators crush the Kings 9-1

Eric Melso had a big night with 5 points (1 goal, 4 assists) as the Binghamton Junior Senators crushed the Skylands Kings 9-1 in a home game at Ice House Sports Complex in Binghamton. Also, the Binghamton Junior Senators' offense had a big night, peppering Skylands with 65 shots throughout the game. The Binghamton Junior Senators took the lead late in the first on a goal from Lindros Beard and never looked back.

Ryan Flanagan chipped in with 3 points (2 goals, 1 assist) and Lindros Beard did his part, adding 2 goals.

During the first period, Beard opened the scoring for Binghamton with a goal at 2:42. Vanderhoff answered for Skylands with a goal at 11:37 with a helper from his teammate Landry. Beard answered for the Junior Senators with what turned out to be the game winning goal at 18:53 with assists from Fondadouze and Lamorre. Wilber quickly followed with a goal at 19:58 with a helper from his linemate Flanagan.

During the second, Flanagan scored a goal at 7:53 with assists from his linemates, Melso and Fondadouze. Becker quickly followed with a goal at 8:30 with helpers from his linemates, Wilber and Melso. Melso netted a goal at 13:02. Flanagan quickly followed with a goal at 13:13 with assists from his linemates, Melso and Wilber.

During the third, Lamorre put in a goal at 9:22 with helpers from Becker and Reifler. Padgeon quickly followed with a goal at 10:22 with an assist from Melso.

Binghamton’s victory was in no doubt helped out by Sullivan as he stopped 13 of the 14 shots he faced. Sullivan’s counterpart, Sears, also had a big night, managing to stop 56 of 65, but ultimately fell short.

This win brings the Binghamton Junior Senators’ record to (4-1-0-0).
