Padgeon's big night helped the Junior Senators crush the Wildcats 6-1

Michael Padgeon had a big night with 4 points (1 goal, 3 assists) as the Binghamton Junior Senators crushed the Jersey Shore Wildcats 6-1 in a home game at Jersey Shore Arena in Binghamton. The Binghamton Junior Senators took the lead early in the second on a goal from Brad Becker.

Eric Melso did his part, adding 2 goals and Ryan Reifler chipped in with 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist).

During the first, Padgeon opened the scoring for Binghamton with a goal at 0:27 with a helper from his teammate Reifler.

In the second period, Becker put in what turned out to be the game winning goal at 0:32 with assists from Padgeon and Lamorre. Melso netted a goal at 4:53 with a helper from fellow Junior Senators forward Padgeon. Reifler scored a goal at 13:17 with assists from Lamorre and Padgeon. Melso deposited a goal at 15:27 with a helper from his linemate Gridley. Kepple quickly followed with a goal at 17:14 with assists from Darling and Gresham.

In the third, Mullen finally put the Wildcats on the board with a goal at 1:06 with a helper from defenseman O’connor.

Binghamton’s victory was in no doubt helped out by Anderson as he stopped 18 of the 19 shots he faced. On the other hand, Anderson’s counterpart, Anastasia, and Jersey Shore’s defense had a miserable night stopping only 6 of 12 shots.

This win brings the Binghamton Junior Senators’ record to (10-3-0-0).
