SENS blow past Skylands in Weekend Sweep

Skylands 0 @ Binghamton 10 – On Friday night, five two-goal performances lifted the Jr. Senators to a 10-0 victory over the Kings at home. Zach Bell, Mike Padgeon, Greg Simmons, Thomas Liebold and Dzhangarashev Dinmukhamed each bagged a pair of goals in Binghamton’s dominant showing. Josh Sears was dealt the loss despite 47 saves, while Jeff Zero and Jonathan Rapp combined for 29 saves and a shared shutout in the Binghamton cage.

Skylands 1 @ Binghamton 3 – On Saturday night, Mike Padgeon, Greg Simmons and Dinmukhamed Dzhangarashev potted first-period goals and the Jr. Senators held on for a 3-1 win over the Kings thanks to 24 saves from Thomas Sullivan. Trevor Christopher scored Skylands’ lone tally in the second period, and goaltender Kavan Johnson was a star with 66 saves, despite the loss.

The Junior Senators move to 23-3-0 on the season. Their next games will be at the NA3HL Showcase in Blaine, Minnesota: December 16-18th.
