SENS grab 36th victory of the season in romp of Oswego

Oswego 2 @ Binghamton 7 – Down 2-0 entering the final 20, the Senators rattled off seven straight strikes to knock off the Stampede 7-2 at home. Joey Gallo and Nick Snyder put Oswego ahead in the middle frame, but a Binghamton resurgence in the form of an Eric Melso hat-trick, two goals from Greg Simmons and individual goals from Adam Morgan and Seth McArdle stole the win. Jeff Zero stopped 22 for the Senators’ victory, outdueling Manny Legace with 54 saves for the Stampede.

Oswego 2 @ Binghamton 8 – Greg Simmons had a hat-trick to lead the Junior Sens to an 8-2 win over the visiting Stampede. Eric Melso scored twice for Binghamton in the win and Liam Murphy, Seth McArdle, and Dinmukhamed Dzhangarashev also had a goal in the win. Oswego goals came from Joey Gallo and Adam Louise. Casey Boone made 18 saves in the win, while Ben White made 51 saves in the loss.

The Junior Senators grab wins number 35 and 36 on the season to move to 36-6-0. They are off next weekend but will return to action March 1-3 in Stockholm, NJ against divisional opponent, Skylands Kings.
