The Junior Senators fall in Season Finale to Jr. Blues, 4-0

Blake Bjella posted a shutout, stopping all 18 of the Binghamton Junior Senators shots throughout the game. The St. Louis Jr. Blues took the lead before the halfway point in the first on a goal from Jake Cox and never looked back.

Ben Jones delivered for his team with 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist) and Bud Winter contributed with 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist).

During the first period, Cox opened the scoring for the Jr. Blues with what turned out to be the game winning goal at 7:53 with helpers from his teammates Mcatee and Capkovic.

In the second, Jones netted a goal at 3:57 with helpers from Winter and Capkovic. Jones quickly followed with a goal at 5:02 with assists from Galaguzov and Hatton. Winter scored a goal at 13:20 with helpers from Shively and Jones.

This loss brings the Junior Senators’ season to a close at the Fraser Cup.
