The Binghamton Junior Senators' offense had a big night, peppering the Long Beach Sharks with 47 shots throughout the game, to go along with Kaden Ericson's shutout. The Binghamton Junior Senators took the lead early in the second on a goal from Ryan Flanagan.
Ryan Flanagan did his part, adding 2 goals and Hunter Kepple contributed with 2 goals.
In the second, Flanagan opened the scoring for Binghamton with what turned out to be the game winning goal at 4:29 with assists from teammates Wilber and Miller. Becker deposited a goal at 7:10 with helpers from Reifler and Ardite. Kepple netted a goal at 12:29 with assists from Mukovoz and Ardite.
In the third, Kepple put in a goal at 10:07 with helpers from his linemates, Fondadouze and Mukovoz. Flanagan scored a goal at 18:06 with assists from Gresham and Wilber.
The Junior Senators’ victory was in no doubt helped out by Ericson’s shutout, as he stopped all 33 of the shots he faced. Ericson’s counterpart, Cortez, also had a big night, managing to stop 42 of 47, but ultimately fell short.
This win brings the Binghamton Junior Senators’ record to (8-1-0-0).
