Brady Anderson posted a shutout, stopping all 25 of the Oswego Stampede shots throughout the game. The Binghamton Junior Senators took the lead late in the first on a goal from Brad Becker and never looked back.
Brad Becker did his part, adding 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist) and Eric Melso delivered for his team with 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist).
During the first period, Becker opened the scoring for Binghamton with what turned out to be the game winning goal at 16:44 with helpers from teammates Reifler and Gresham.
In the second, Bogdziul put in a goal at 6:58 with helpers from his linemates, Becker and Reifler. Dzhangarashev quickly followed with a goal at 7:51. Melso netted a goal at 11:58 with assists from Beversdorf and Darling.
During the third, Mandel Jr. deposited a goal at 1:12 with helpers from his linemates, Beversdorf and Melso.
Binghamton’s victory was in no doubt helped out by Anderson’s shutout, as he stopped all 25 of the shots he faced. Anderson’s counterpart, Kozikoski, also had a big night, managing to stop 60 of 65, but ultimately fell short.
This win brings the Binghamton Junior Senators’ record to (34-3-0-3).
