Brady Anderson posted a shutout, stopping all 23 of the Oswego Stampede shots throughout the game. The Binghamton Junior Senators took the lead early in the first on a goal from C.j. Smith and never looked back.
Dinmukhamed Dzhangarashev did his part, adding 2 goals and Michael Padgeon delivered for his team with 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist).
During the first period, Smith opened the scoring for Binghamton with what turned out to be the game winning goal at 3:09 with a helper from defenseman Gresham. Melso put in a goal at 16:20 with an assist from defenseman O’connor. Reifler netted a goal at 19:31 with a helper from fellow Junior Senators forward Bogdziul.
In the second, Padgeon deposited a goal at 10:59 with an assist from his teammate Espe. Becker scored a goal at 19:26.
During the third, Bogdziul put in a goal at 13:07 with helpers from Becker and Lamorre. Simmons quickly followed with a goal at 13:44 with an assist from Padgeon. Dzhangarashev quickly followed with a goal at 15:39 with a helper from Reifler. Dzhangarashev deposited a goal at 18:26.
Binghamton’s victory was in no doubt helped out by Anderson’s shutout, as he stopped all 23 of the shots he faced. Anderson’s counterpart, White, also had a big night, managing to stop 36 of 41, but ultimately fell short.
This win brings the Binghamton Junior Senators’ record to (26-3-0-3).
